Community Midwifery (CMW)

The Community Midwifery (CMW) program at Alfalah College of Nursing & Allied Health Sciences is designed to prepare competent and compassionate midwives capable of delivering essential maternal and newborn care within community settings. The course emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical training in safe childbirth, prenatal and postnatal care, and family planning services.

With a strong focus on community-based healthcare, the curriculum equips students to work effectively with families, promoting maternal and child well-being, particularly in underserved and rural areas. Graduates of the program play a vital role in enhancing access to quality healthcare and contributing to safer motherhood across communities.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Program Duration: 02 Years
  • Gender: Female candidates only
  • Age Limit: 14 to 35 years (as per Pakistan Nursing Council guidelines)
  • Education: Minimum Matriculation (Science Group) with at least 45% marks
  • Subjects Required: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
  • Health Status: Medically fit with good physical and mental health
  • Other Requirements:
    • Must pass the College Admission Test and Interview
    • Submit all required documents and certificates at the time of admission
